Tour description
We start - gently embedded in the Carnic and Gailtal Alps - from the Lerchenhof via Hermagor in the direction of Kötschach-Mauthen, where the most natural valley in Europe - the Lesachtal - begins. We immerse ourselves in a unique mountain landscape and enjoy the route to Sillian, the last village before the Italian border. And then we enter the world-famous Dolomites, where our destination - the beautiful Pragser Wildsee lake - is located in the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park. The tour leads back via the East Tyrolean Defreggen Valley (via the Staller Saddle at 2,052 m) and the Drau Valley. Another tip: a detour to the natural gem of Lake Weissensee.
