Tour description
A “must” for every fan of Carinthian Alpine roads is the gentle Nockalm road with its numerous attractions. But before we get to this driving pleasure, we ride from the Lerchenhof towards Weißbriach, over the Kreuzberg past the natural jewel Weissensee and on towards Spittal an der Drau. Highly recommended: a stopover in the artists' town of Gmünd or via the Malta Hochalmstraße through the “valley of cascading waters” to the imposing Kölbrein dam. The Nockalm Road experience takes us through the unique Nockberge Biosphere Park and, after some wonderful impressions, we end up in the World Cup ski resort of Bad Kleinkirchheim. From there, we head back towards Lake Millstätter See via the Windische Höhe to Hermagor.
