Sauris and Natural park Weissensee

Tour description

Discover Friuli by convertible or classic car: we start from the Lerchenhof in the direction of Nassfeld - the largest ski resort in Carinthia in winter and one of the TOP 10 ski resorts in Austria - and cross the border to Italy via the Passo Pramollo in the direction of Pontebba. Now our discovery tour in Friuli begins! We ride through the Kanaltal valley towards Tolmezzo. And the Sauris “National Park” - the “Pearl of the Alps” - reveals itself. This German-speaking “island” in the middle of Italy has many special features to discover. We pass through the winding Italian mountains towards the Plöcken Pass, which leads back to Kötschach-Mauthen. We reach our final destination - the Weissensee Nature Park - via the Gailberg, through the Drau Valley and over the Kreuzberg towards Hermagor.
